  1. Thanks for the advice - I will also ask my surgeon when I have my 5 month catch up next month. He may know what's available.
  2. Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had the gastric sleeve surgery in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne under Medicare? I had the sleeve surgery last year by Mr Frydenberg but had to use private health insurance. My friend has many health issues and I heard that you could get the surgery done under Medicare if your weight is life threatening. I would like to let her know she had this option if available. I have not looked back since having my surgery. Thanks
  3. Thanks MooCow for that. I'm seeing my dietician in a couple of weeks - will be good touching base with her.
  4. Hi all, I've just found this site and excited to share my story but also to reach out to others for on going support. I had my sleeve done on 6th Oct 14 by Mr Frydenberg at Epworth in Richmond Vic. It was the best decision I've made. I've lost 32kg which has been fantastic but the last 2 weeks I've not lost anything. Not sure why as I haven't changed anything in my diet. Is there anyone else that this is happening too? I'm 182cm tall and starting weight was 163kg so I have still a lot of weight to lose. Would love to hear if others have had a stop in their weight loss? Is it temporary? What can I do to get it moving again? Thanks in advance for your support. Jacqui
