  1. No fluid retention problems. My urine output increased a few days post surgery so I'm doing better now. I'm having a hard time getting enough fluids in
  2. Glad to know I'm not alone. I took a nap today and woke up with pain. I take the pain meds still as I need. My throat is still sore and my drain site is sore. I'm having a hard time getting my fluids in. Any advice?
  3. I have the liquid galvescon (sp?) and Prilosec. So far I've read on here it's not uncommon post op. Everything is healing. I feel more concerned I'm not peeing.. Going to try and go on a long walk today. I using cough drops for my sore throat. Hopefully that will help
  4. So I'm day 3 post op and I'm having waves of heartburn. It's right in the middle of my chest. Comes and goes. Advice? My throat is also sore but I'm sure that's expected after having a tube down it. I also am not peeing enough. I pee just feel like I'm holding fluid...
  5. Well I did it yall. I'm now sleeved.. Best of luck to all you heading my way. I'm at the Marriott one more night.

  7. Same doctors! Awesome!! I know we're in good hands. Look for Alexandra at the Marriott when your pre op I'll be there.
  8. I'm good surgery is this Friday and I'm ready. Little nervous but so ready... Did I mention ready? Lol. I'm glad your doing well. Surprised your advancing to softs already but that is great! Have your taste buds changed?
  9. I love the Unjury vanilla. I didn't find it gritty whatsoever. I thought the fruity flavore of the Syntrax tasted like gelatin /jello... Power crunch makes an amazing vanilla. I'm on the search for a coffee flavored protein but I've had no luck.. They all taste bad. My surgery is this Friday and the trick is going to be finding something that doesn't thicken or turn to sludge while sitting. We can't chug it so I don't want it too thick.
  10. I'm feb 27 also... Good luck!
  11. Dr Garcia is doing mine. How about you?
