  1. I was sleeved 6/1. I too normally have to supplement bkfast with a shake then I'm good. I can eat 2oz per meal.
  2. I was sleeved June 1 and have lost 52 lb total. I lost 15 lb pre surgery and 37 after surgery. My plan is to get min 60 g of protein and 64 Oz water'standard and for the most part I hit my goal or close to it. My starting weight was 284 and I'm now at 232 I LOVE IT! I hit a stall close to week 4 then scale dropped 10 lb. I seemed to hit another stall at week 7 but scale dropped 2 lb today. I know I'm doing all I should be, so I don't stress on it because I know eventually the scale will drop and there is nothing else I can do to make it go down. Everyone is just so different. I want the scale to drop but when I don't see it move, I say we'll tomorrow it will. I seem to have these stalls but then rapid loss, I accept the pace of my weight loss and just keep moving forward. Let's all stay strong June sleevers!
  3. Any update ladies? That first stall felt like it was almost 2 weeks for me but it was less. Scale started to go down this past weekend, slowly but down 35 lb from surgery..total 50. LOVE IT. I'm going to a family cabin with a lot of family in 2 weeks any good receipes or food suggestions? WHAT ARE THE THINGS YOU ARE GOING THROUGH IN THIS STAGE OF UR JOURNEY.
  4. The eating is good just tired of limited menu so I'm ready for next phase. If your hungry you can have a snack between meals. I'm down 30 lb from day of surgery.
  5. How's everyone doing? I had the famous 3 or 4 week stall. I noticed earlier this week how head hunger or bad habit still lingers in the mind. My eating issue has always been snacking or eating late night when I go to bed and watch tv, when I started my journey my nut stated I could snack at night but w protein. I snacked healthy at night from beginning of journey until last week. At 10 pm or so I normally would go get 1 tsp of hummus and 1/2slice of monterrey cheese. Well I stopped and said to my self does my stomach feel hungry-no. Ok, it's just a habit and this could hurt me in the long run so I haven't snacked at night in a week, instead I find something else to focus on like a movie or something. I'm trying to be more aware of my body and true hunger since I'm loving the wls results.
  6. My sleeve was on June 1, I asked nut about alcohol consumption for a family trip that would take place at my 8 wk mark. Nut didn't recommend beer but OK with a few sips of wine. She stated my stomach might only agree with only a few sips. I hope this helps.
  7. I didn't have any pain post surgery, but there are med to stop pain. Only pain I had was gas pain once for 20 min.
  8. I tried spicy tuna hand roll the other day with no rice, YUMM! Today I tried the bean and cheese from Taco Bell another good one yum yum
  9. The first two weeks I too felt w fatigue like most. At my post op I spoke w doc and he asked how much water was I drinking (I was only drinking half) he said it's not how little food I'm eating it's the WATER INTAKE. Standard intake 62 or 64 oz. Once I started increasing water I felt good.
  10. How's everyone doing with soft proteins? Share your favorite recipe or food. Im already getting board of limited options but I'm getting my 60 g of protein. Try Sf jam, I add it to Greek yogurt and it's so yummy.
  11. 36 lb down total. 12 lb down since surgery, 12 lb in 12 days.
  12. I had my post op w doc yesterday: SW 284, CURRENT 248. I'm 36 LB DOWN TOTAL
  13. How's everyone doing this week? Can't wait for soft foods starting monday, tired of shakes. I still don't have great energy.
  14. I know I can push more but just scared to stretch out stomach or over due it and not heal. I'll keep pushing a little more each time. Thanks
  15. I've been trying to get protein shake down but I feel so full, not so much stomach but like after you have thanksgiving dinner and are ready for a nap. I get about 2oz down. Anyone start on shakes yet?
  16. I'm on day 6 post and today between meals or when I'm not eating I get a wave of pressure, almost like I'm full. It just last for 2-3seconds just like when I'm full. This morning the pressure got me out of bed. This just started today. Anyone have anything similar?
  17. Thank god you're ok. Day by day I'm sure you'll get better.
  18. I have a 5 yr old and 1.5, so I had my husband take 3 days off to take then to/from daycare and be w them evenings. I'm still sitting with them but he's taking care of meals and activities, def. Helps. Still on only liquids but going to try shakes today, see how that goes. Also, not getting in all fluids I should, but otherwise everything good.
  19. Yea.... I love it! I can watch TV and see food and restaurant commercials and my mouth doesn't water. This is amazing!
  20. 4 days post op but I don't feel hungry. I eat and drink because I have to but I don't have the same hunger feelings as before. Does anyone feel the same, or is anyone getting hungry after sleeve?
  21. I was told I needed to pass gas in order to go home and this morning finally. Try massaging the bottom part of your stomach downward, insitions should be higher on stomach.
  22. The gas pressure is gone and I was released from hospital today. Each meal I'm only eating a few bites of sf jello and a few spoon of broath. I have to eat slow and I don't over do it.if I start feeling pressure, I stop. Each day I feel better and can eat a few more bites.
  23. I've had the worse gas pain at top of my stomach it feels like they dropped a bowling ball on me. What's helped a little is walking, after I walk I start vomiting but I don't throw up food instead the vomiting causes me to burp. Also nausea meds but they only help like the first hr.
  24. Good luck and god bless to all of us getting sleeved tomorrow! How exciting, not nervous one bit but that will change tomorrow.
