he will band me on Dec. 10th. Shoot, I just found out Mid Oct that i was approved. I called to schedule the surgery, they only had one day in Dec. I took it. So, I don't think you will have to wait too long, not 6 months. You still need a month to do the following. physcial pre registration physcol. eval meet with Dr. 2 week diet I am on the 5 day of the diet. I have lost 7 lbs. write back

I started my pre-op diet Monday and have lost 7 lbs already. I get the lap band on Dec. 10th. I just can't wait. Chatting with others on this website has really got me excited. It feels good to know that I will be able to loose the weight and look good again, not to mention getting rid of foot problem and back problems.

I think it is so great to be able to chat with people that are getting or have the lap band. i really need to start doing my homework. i would like to share everything with yall. we can learn from each other.

I am drinking the Slim Fast with High Protein shakes; 1 for breakfast and 1 for lunch with a small piece of fruit. at dinner they suggest 4 oz of chicken, turkey, ham, or roast beef that is fat free like Hillshire Farm from the deli section. Also, I can have 1 cup of non starchy veggies and 1 healthy pc of bread. I really look forward to going home and fixing my dinner. It is always so good! I hated to cook, but I think I will learn to enjoy now.:hungry:

i see you lost 25 lbs already. is that just in the 2 weeks since being banded or that plus 2 weeks of preop diet? i want to have a ticker. i am new to this. how do i do it?

when are getting banded? I am getting banded on dec. 10th. we seem to be on the same schedule. It's great to chat with someone in the same boat as me. i am so excited too. I am on my 4th day of the liver shrinking diet. i haven't felt hungry either. today I was a little. Just like you, I really can't wait to get home and fix me a plate of real food. I hate to cook, but now I will learn to enjoy it.

so when were you banded? how do you get that cute ticker put on here? i am new to all this. my headache is gone. It was from Monday afternoon to Wednesday morning and then it was gone.

hi, i am on the 3rd day of my pre opt liver shrinking diet. i got a bad, really bad headache on day one and it finally went away last night. so it lasted almost 2 days. You are doing a good job on the diet becuase you are not taking in the sugars you normally take in. that is why you have a headache. good job. just relax in a dark, quiet room as much as you can. it will be over soon.

Hello everyone. I just found this website. My name is Jeannette and I will have the lap band on Dec. 10th. I start my liver shrinking diet tomorrow.:omg: I need lots and lots of help and possitive influence. I have a bit of doubt of my success. I want it so bad and i am going to try so hard.
