  2. @@Seahawkgirl I definitely have a goal size I'm trying to get to after surgery and for that I do have a goal outfit, but I'm also prepping by buying clothing of different sizes just to have as options such as tees sweats undergarments I currently wear a 4x 5x size so I'm doing light shopping for those type of pieces in 2x 1x range
  3. Ooopppss did someone say shopping... I'm a shopping addict myself but I started buying fashion for the smaller version of me which will emerge after June. I look forward to buying off the rack rather than those special stores that are specifically assigned for people of size.
  4. So I guess I'll introduce myself I'm Ritchie O'Neal and I am 28 years old. I'm fun loving and I'm a people person. I have no kids at the moment, I have to get a boyfriend first lol my surgery is schedule for June 2nd. I can't wait I started my process last month and it feels like a forever wait.
  5. I'm scheduled for surgery June 2nd. The long wait makes me feel super nervous but excited all at the same time I've done my esophogram and all my medical stuff so I've been cleared for surgery. Now all I have left is my 4 nutritional appointments and my anesthesiologist appointment. I'm ready and I need this. Good luck my friends
  6. @@NaomiAus I heard that as well. The only reason I was asking was because I'm such a social person I'm always at some event, I don't drink to get drunk but I know my friends are going to look at me crazy because I'm not drinking. I'm gearing up for a lot of awkward moments since I haven't told anyone about me having surgery!
  7. After surgery can you ever drink hard alcoholic drinks again? Or does it have to be completely cut out of your life?
  8. Mine surgery date is all the way June 2nd and I'm doing it at Bellevue Hospital!
  9. I would love to have local sleevers around maybe we all can come together grab lunch in the city and talk about your experiences! I'm pre op and just appreciate everyone's story and would love to hear it in person I think it would be fun!
  10. Thank you for this I been given my surgery date for June 2 im scared, nervous, excited, and happy all at the same time! This forum was helpful, gave me an onsite on what I can possibly go through!
