im still dealing with the pain that goes into my back. it is a kind of cramping satisfaction/release type of pain. i was put on muscle relaxers but they dont work very well. has anyone ever heard of anything like this? left side pain that cramps and can be due to scar tissue and goes into the spine? anyone can give any help?

I don't think its anyone's business who takes what or whatnot, Maybe you should ask their mother. lithium is a mineral salt.

Hello, I've posted this topic a couple of times and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this. I've been having cramping/abdominal spasms in my stomach area that goes into the spinal chord. It feels like a muscular type of cramping, and it has made my life uncomfortable. Has anyone ever heard of this? Does anyone know of any pain meds that would work for this type of pain? I've been having these pains for about 4 and 5 years.

my question is this. ive been having unexplained pain on my left side, it feels like a muscle cramp. i hear its an abdominal stitch in the stomach wall.. this problem has been going on for a long time, and i wanted to know if this is documented or in notes somewhere. it comes in and goes, and is like a spasm. does anyone know anything about something like this? it is like an abdominal pulling.

i had mine changed to the gastric sleeve. it was actually a banded plication that was changed to a sleeve because there was apparently too much damage to the stomach. i really hope there is a way to correct this. its really a strange thing.

I was going to post this on mfp but I thought I’d post this here. I drink a bunch of water almost everyday. I know I drink a lot more then the recommended amount. I usually try to watch how much I eat and also exercise. Sometimes from day to day my weight fluctuates. Could this be due to too much water?

I just have some questions. I posted this a couple of days ago. Are you supposed to have muscular pain in the left side regularly? I have this pain that starts from the place where they make the main incision. Ive been having this pain for 2 years. It feels like a cramping pain. Has anyone else experienced this? Are you supposed to be in any sort of pain?

I've been having cramping in the left side under the rib cage area. I'm not sure if its gallbladder related, since I got that removed. I was told it could be due to an abdominal muscle in that area. Anyone ever heard of this or dealt with this? The pain feels like a muscle cramp/contraction.

I am just wondering something. I had the plication/lp band to sleeve surgery about 1 year and 2 months ago. but ive still been having cramping on the left side. it is also in the back it feels like a pulled bone/ and or muscle. Ive been to a bunch of doctors for this. i had my gallbladder removed recently and also was told that it may be some abdominal muscle or stitch. Ive been dealing with this for a while now. does anyone have any advice or answers here?

I was wondering if anyone had an experience with muscular skeletal and abdominal pain. I’ve had many revisions and I still have lower left abdominal pain. Could it be from the abdominal wall area? Has anyone heard of this?

I got two doctors opinions including one who took out my gallbladder. They told me they did a lot of testing and it maybe because of the stomach muscle and me worrying. It really is painful and sometimes really bad.

yeah i did have the lap band removed. they did a sleeve. been having this problem for about a year and half.

i was wondering. i have reoccurring cramping pain under the left rib cage. i don't have a gallbladder i got it removed. the pain is sometimes there sometimes not. it makes no difference if i eat or drink. could this be just unexplained pain? i was wondering if anyone has this experience or could offer some help with this.

I just have a question since i'm seeing a gastric sleeve doctor soon. I have pain on my side that extends into the back with cramping. The cramping can get very bad, and no one seems to give me a clear cut answer to why I get this pain. I've heard many people say it was a gallbladder problem but I'm still not sure. The pain comes and goes and is like a cramping, discomforting type of thing. Seeing as people post here all the time I was wondering if anyone has any advice or help with this topic.

I'm going for a lower GI test soon. The pain is a cramping good and bad pain. There is no other symptoms besides this cramping pain. I had a band to sleeve revision and this stinks.

im actually trying to get more testing done.. i dunno why they would do this kind of thing to me or why this happened to me. this is a very difficult situation for me. i have pain on my left side, it is like a cramping pain it feels terrible. im not sure if it may be a gallbladder issue but this has been going on for months now.

I find generally that it isn't as extreme as with the gastric band. you still get that feeling or sensation, but it isnt as terrible as the lap band. if you get stuck, it will go away in a small amount of time.

I'm still at a loss for why I feel this pain. Are you supposed to feel the staples (seriously) in your stomach? It can be really bad at times.

Yeah. I've been dealing with this situation for a long time. The pain is on the left side of my abdomen. It may be gallstones. They are doing some further testing in a couple of days. Is it normal to feel this type of excruciating pain? It goes a way a bit with advil. It feels like some sort of tension and release, and cramping.

mine was on the left side also. ive been getting pain around that area. its a congested cramping pain.
