I've been doing my food bucket list. Liquid starts on March 24th.

Just finished my pre-surgical testing. It was not my favorite experience. The barium solution for the Upper GI x-Ray was major yuck. Getting very close to my April 7th date! Just pre-surgery appointments with my primary and my surgeon. I start liquid a week from tomorrow.

I'm April 7th as well and will begin Bariatric Advantage on March 24, two weeks before surgery.

I'm scheduled for April 7th. Originally was March 20th but it didn't work out. Happy to have some more processing time

Well must be good juju to post! Got my surgery date... March 20th!!!! I begin liquid on Saturday. So much waiting and now super fast turn around. So excited but also very nervous!!

I've been waiting and waiting for my surgery to be scheduled. I am so upset. I haven't been sleeping (when I do I have nightmares) and I just wait by my phone all day for the call. I have called them multiple times and always get some excuse... " we'll call within the week", etc. I am extremely non-confrontational (nervous and sensitive) so I can't continuously call. How long did everyone have to wait between finishing all pre-surgery requirements and getting a surgery date? I really imagined I would have at least a date by now since I started the process in early December.

I have Dr. Guske too! I am so excited to find these wonderful posts on him. I have my pulmonary appointment tomorrow and cannot wait to get my surgery date. So far I have loved everything about the Kane Center. I never even had to call my insurance! I love how they have a patient coordinator who keep you up to date and on track for appointments! Here's to passing pulmonary with flying colors and getting that surgery on the calendar!
