  1. Hi, I'm new to this forum. My name is Kelli and I started my surgery journey in October. I have done the psych evail, a sleep study and blood work. I have been seeing my weight loss doc, dieting and exercising since 2009. Lost about 70lbs in the beginning getting down to 200lbs then had a few injuries that set me back. Finally got to the point that I am tired of being in constant pain in my back, hips and knees tired of feeling tired and feeling like I am killing myself dieting and and exercising with nothing really working so talked to the doc about surgery as an additional tool. Only had one other surgery in my life (acl 3ys ago) so this is pretty scary but exciting at the same time. Now dealing with crazy insurance with hopes of surgery in early March. My doc has recommended I try the post surgery diet so I aclamate myself to the changes. Did anyone else try this before surgery? How did it go?
