  3. Hello Everyone, Hope everyone is home and doing well. I can say the surgery went well, my problems began the next day. I had breast cancer a year ago and with that I only have one arm they can use for blood pressure, ivs and taken blood. I was dehydrated making it difficult to have blood drawn, but after the 4th try and no go I was getting nauseous. Not a good combo when they send you down to have the test to determine if there was any leakage. Thankfully after a bit of anti-nausea meds, some pin killers and a nap, I was able to go home at 4:30 last night. I'm feeling good this morning trying to get in some Protein and any other liquids I can.

  5. I'm about to leave myself for the hospital. I've spent the morning cleaning just trying to keep myself busy and off the fact that I'm a bit hungry and would love a cup of tea. Best of Luck to you!

  9. My sleeve is tomorrow, March 16! I'm nervous, excited and scared but at the same time relieved to be taking this step in the right direction. I need to get my life under control. I am a 1 year survivor of breast cancer, single mom to a great young man and want to be healthier and keep the cancer away so I can be around to watch my son grow up. I am just about packed, food shopping is done and laundry is underway. Best of luck to all the Sleevers tomorrow! I hope you will be seeing a little less of me everyday (weight that is).

  12. My surgery date is for March 16 at 11:30am. I am so excited to get all this weight off but nervous at the same time. So far the pre-op diet has been okay. I cut out soda January 1st, Ice cream a few weeks ago and protein shakes have been good. Im nervous to get past the first few weeks of the unknown. I understand there will be pain, gas and discomfort, but I hope things go smoothly and tolerable.
  13. My surgery is scheduled for Monday (3/16) at 11:30am. I am very excited with a touch of nervousness. I am glad I found this site as I will need support.
