  1. Omg so funny I had this happen last night. I didn't think I lost enough for this yet so I can't imagine another 100 lbs down and feeling it!!!!!
  2. WOW, I think that sounds awesome, I never thought to go and have someone help me figure out my "new face" glad I saw this post!!!!
  3. I think the only thing I miss at nearly 4 months out is dinner with my husband, a stay home dinner date with Chinese food and a movie... or going to a restaurant and splitting an appetizer and having an alcoholic beverage after a long week.... but for the weight loss? I'll get through it LOL
  4. I got lucky with clothes. The store deb in our local mall was closing and I got jeans for 4 bucks each (next 3 sizes down) and shirts for 5 bucks. It was awesome. If not for that I just live in Wal-Mart's cheap sales lol
  5. Agreed, I don't remember how long We waited but we just took it slow and steady to be sure it wouldn't be uncomfortable. As everyone said, be super careful and protected !
  6. My legs!!!! If I didn't have knee high boots I never would have noticed. That and my neck. I've lost equally elsewhere because my shape looks identical to day 1 but I'm down 6 pant sizes so idk
  7. 5'10" 26 yrs old and 334 on DOS 12~4~14 And just weighed in at 262 this morning. 72 down, another 100 to go for a little under 4 months out I'll totally take it!!!
  8. Down 70 lbs since Dec 4 2014
  9. Quick question. What kind of exercise are you doing? I'm still mostly doing walking and some strength exercises but haven't really gotten back to the gym more than once or twice a week (I was going 5-6 times / week before surgery!). My progress is similar to yours (my surgery was 2 weeks after you) but I have 100 lbs more than you to lose. I am just curious if I should really be stepping it up and getting back to Water aerobics. It's just been a pretty brutal winter with a sinus infection that lasted several weeks and then lots of snow. The past two weeks have been warm, but I'm still in my old routine! I have a plan to amp it up, but am just curious what others are doing! To be honest with you, I'm in ny and the cold and snow has kept me in. I don't do much of anything as far as exercise, even with my gym membership. Have to start going again. It's getting nice so no more excuses! I've always hated working out... I'm ashamed of that but it's the honest truth. Its hard for me to motivate to work out.
  10. I also check almost every day and try to record it. It helps me see what I do that makes good (and bad) changes. A "gain" doesn't discourage me, it motivates me. A stall doesn't either... I know that my body needs them. I love seeing how no matter what this surgery is the best thing I've ever done. I would never have lost this weight on my own.
  11. Wow, 65 pounds in 3 months. What an achievement. I can't wait to be that far along. Keep up the great work. Well the higher the start weight the faster it falls off. I had a LOT to get rid of and still do haha You'LL be surprised how fast the time goes!
  12. I know there are others but I want to see other December 2014 sleevers and thanks everyone
  13. thank you for the website for the vitamins!!!! i have been using Bariatric fusion but they are 4 chewables a day and they taste like chalk.. and remembering to take them all day long has been anything but easy. I never remember them all... this is going to change EVERYTHING! thank you again!!!!!
  14. I just watched this one last week and my husband and I were talking about how awful her choices were and how we couldnt understand how she could be that way. She was given a gift and decided that it just was too much work. She had no intentions of changing herself. I just cannot figure out how she didn't lose ANYTHING though and kept eating and gaining. (not that I have ANY desire to try but) I dont think I could maintain or gain weight if I tried! I cant eat enough! LOL My husband was the one that said that first, the fact that there is nowhere to put all that food. The only thing I could think was that she must graze on awful sugary fatty stuff ALL day long and really commit to it
  15. Hey LOSERS!!!!! Wanted to start a thread for us to update on our losses and share our success! Let's brag bc WE DESERVE IT!!!!! I was sleeved 12/4 I'm 26 and 5'10" SW 334 CW 266 GW 165 I have gone from a Size 30/tight 3x to a size 20/comfortable 1x shirts

  19. Reintroduced at 6 weeks not 6 months... with no issues.
  20. For those only a few weeks out I just want t o show you what 4 weeks can do to your face. And my knee high boots are loose when I used to struggle to zip them. The weight starts falling off in strange places! I started my journey on Dec 4th at 334lb and now at 6 1/2 weeks out am down 46lb and feeling fabulous! I don't see a difference in picks of my body but I know it's changing. Keep motivated!!!
  21. I cannot vouch for the DS whatsoever or really for any of them in a medical way... However I can tell you I have seen many success stories with both sleeve and bypass and heard many of the positives and negatives on both. Do your own research, find out exactly what each does and doesn't do, restrictions on food and beverage and whatnot. Only you can make this decision. I thought I wanted the bypass until I did a personal evaluation side by side and decided the sleeve was a better choice for me. Good luck in whatever you may decide
  22. Oooo I'm gonna make a list before I read.... 1. Old time photo with the hubby., a sexy one!!!! 2. Shop in any store in my local mall not just plus sized ones 3.
