I am 9 days post op and have had serious back pain (kindof at the bottom of my ribs) for 4 days now. Did any of you experience this? I asked my surgeon at my 1 week post op visit and he didn't seem too concerned, just said to take some tyenol. I have been on a heating pad all day today and I'm just not sure what to do! On a PLUS side - I'm down 22 pounds since my surgery date! Thanks in advance!

Does it exist?! I used to love the chocolate GNC powder, but since surgery I gag getting it down. I am only 5 days post op, so still on full liquids, but I get nauseous at the smell of my shakes. How did you get your Protein in during the liquids only stage? Thanks in advance!!! ????

WhT other things are you allowed to have? My surgeon and dietician were very vague.... I was told protein shakes and water. It's so hard.

Yay for you!!! I'm 5 days post op and ready to eat the paint off the walls! Feeling great, but wish I could find a non sweet protein drink. They all taste too sweet to me after surgery.
