  1. Wow good luck...can't wait till I am in your shoes...looking forward to the pics
  2. I think if you can afford it--get a fill....it helps so much and usually takes a few months to get to proper restriction!!
  3. Just take it day by day...don't think too far ahead! You can do this
  4. Everyone is different..I was at great restriction at about 6.3. Now I am about 5.5--I have restriction, but I am not super tight...I am hoping to maintain at this restriction, maybe even be able to go a little looser than this....
  5. OK, so I guess this is my final "AFTER" shot....until I get plastic surgery  First two, I am about 280, final pic I am about 139.
  6. I had the same worries as you...but didn't remember a thing, wouldn't have even known that they put a tube in me!! You'll do great
  7. Well this calorie restriction has worked for me!!
  8. I weigh daily....it used to drive me crazy, and when I was heavier I had to stop with the obsession. But now that I am closer to goal, it doesn't bother me if I don't lose weight on a daily basis!!
  9. What does your surgeon say? Please keep us updated!!
  10. I would definitely call Dr....maybe you are too tight...just because liquids go down doesn't mean you aren;t too tight...keep us updated.
  11. lying down...never had a problem....
  12. 17 lbs is great!! You probably have very little restriction as you were just banded. Everyone is a little different. Most people feel some restriction after their 3rd fill, for me--it took until my 5th fill!! Good luck...keep up the good work :w00t:
  13. Sounds good....not sure I could tolerate them, but I will have to try!! I bet they would freeze well....
  14. I think everyone reacts differently depending upon anatomy, etc. I didn't feel restriction until my 5th fill!! But everyone is different :w00t:

Jillian MIchael's 30-day shred---it is fantastic!! Bought it at Target....
  16. Been overweight my entire life. Got the band in June 2008...best thing I have ever done. I have lost more than 140 lbs and just bought a size 4 jeans from the Gap...couldn't be happier :wink2:
  17. all liquid diet for two weeks. One time I did eat a handful of nuts. Lost 20 lbs.
  18. Sounds like you are a bit too tight to me.....let us know how it works out....
  19. Just go to the Dr. You don't want the incision to get worse...good luck!!
  20. I think you will find it will get better
  21. Not sure about this...I have gotten way lower than I ever was..I am about 138 right now.....lowest I ever was as an adult was maybe 195. In high school possible 165 or so....
  22. I think you should get a fill personally....
  23. My doc had me wait a month before my first fill...after the wait period, I would recommend it for sure.....
  24. This does not sound like heartburn...sounds like a little bit of getting "stuck"...chew your food really well and take super small bites.
  25. it is very common to have heartburn with the lapband. I have it and have had since about 8 months after banding,...but its getting better as I get my band loosened--as I get closer to my goal weight
