I would sure give my regular Doctor a little insight on who is backing him up when hes not there and also find out before I go next time if you regular Doctor is in . I am sorry that you had a bad day I hope the rest of the day is better...

My port is down on the left side which from what I understand is the norm. As long as it is not up near the heart you will be fine is what my Doc told me.Nice to have you I see you were just banded good luck just do as the Doctors tells you and stay on liquid as long as you can this is the best way to loose the weight the fastest........

I had lots of gas pain, but I never took anything for it. You have to always remember that pain tolerant is different for each person. If you are a person that has a high pain level this will be a piece of cake if you have a low pain level you will wish you had a high. I myself have a very high level... Remember no pain no gain. Vanesav, I am so proud of you. We were banded about the same time How much have you lost? I have about 50lbs to loss also. I would like to set a pack with you that we stay on this and continue to lose. What is you goal for this month? Ok everyone when does our next goal end...

The pills may be a problem depending on the size as you tend to get more fills. You need to check with you Surgeon and maybe they make liquids in some of these. If they don't go down they will sit until desolved.

I had my fill and I am doing great 12lb down in a 1 1/2 weeks yea. Did you ask Dr Morton he probably has one that he refers to.

I agree but I am also a Christian and proud of it This information is for fills I went to Dr. Hugh Houston Nashville he is wonderful here is his web address tell him that Robin Twisdale referred you maybe he will give me a break next visit. (http://www.cmcwls.com/) He charges $210. for inital consult and then he charges $250. for each fill you will have it done at hospital their fee is $150. Beleive me when I say he is a great caring physician. Let me know if you need any information or if you go keep in touch.. each additional visit is $250. for fill and if you have it under floro. $150. for hosp. Dr Houston total fee is 14,400. which I think is very reasonable the prices in state have dropped.....

If you are interested in going to Nashville, TN their is a wonderful Doctor there that you can see.

Fluoroscope is the only way to go. I had 3 fills by one Doctor who refused to do under Fluoroscope. I never felt full so I stop going to him. When I was discharged I was told by my surgeon never to have fill done unless under Floro. It was very difficult to find a Doctor that would do Floro near Memphis. After a lot of research I found Dr. Houston, Nashville TN. Wonderful Doctor with a to the point attitude. After having test done he found that I had a enlarged esophagus. This was most likely caused from not cut food into a small size and not eating food well before it went down.You see food had no where to go and would not come back up. I am now on liquid for the next 3 weeks and then blended food until i need next fill..... The reason I am tell you all of this is because if I had not been so determined to find a Doctor to do this under fluoroscope. I could have ruptured my esophagus and could have died if I had not got to the hospital in time....So guess who is the best Lap-band surgeon in the south...Dr Hugh Houston, Nashville TN.......

I have not been told this before and all the reading I have not seen this... So I will try again it has been so upsetting to continue to spend this kind of money with out some kind of weight loss...

Thanks Mystjin and Danaclark2 Update I have found a Doctor in Nashville who is out of town until the 5th His staff states that he will take patients from Mexico and does fluoroscope. I will get to speak to his coordinator next Tuesday wish me luck..
