  1. I hope they figure it out soon. Keep us updated.
  2. I need to. They won't schedule until I go to one. At first I wasn't real thrilled about going to one, but now I think I need to. It will help keep me accountable.
  3. No, not yet but as slow as things are going I'm betting February. What about you?
  4. No and no. But when I saw the pulmonalogist he said all the "signs" pointed towards sleep apnea so I would need a cpap machine. I guess he's waiting until after the sleep study to get me one!?
  5. Yeah, that crossed my mind too lol. But their more than welcome to jump in anytime :-)
  6. LOL, I know what you mean about eating everything now but Dr Kirk told me if I weighed more the day of surgery than when I came in originally, then the surgeon could cancel the surgery due to non compliance. Yikes. I got my sleep study scheduled today. Thank goodness they just had a cancellation or I might be waiting awhile. I go in this Sunday night. Hopefully I pass and he cancels the cpap machine. A girl can dream, right? lol

  8. Just for the fun of it, they should make you do it again lol. I have really tried following the protein diet, cutting out caffeine and carbonated beverages but I sure am missing my "regular" food. No soda in almost a month and severely cut out a lot of the carbs. I love sweets so this is killing me. I guess the sweets was really the one killing me lol
  9. What the crap. No stress test? That's not fair. Maybe I should see your docs instead of Baileys doctors. Oh well. That's great though for you. Who do you have left to see?
  10. Do any of you start second guessing the surgery? I woke up today not feeling real excited about doing it.
  11. That's great. I'm very happy for you.
  12. Good luck. I know how hard it is. I'm not telling any family at all. They won't understand and I don't need the stress. Hopefully your family is more understanding than mine.
  13. I know you were joking. But I am not a morning person either but for some reason I just keep waking up at the butt crack of dawn, so since I can't sleep I was just exercising. But today I woke up at 5 and my first thought was to exercise but then I was mad because I set my alarm for 7:30 and could have at least slept in a little lol. I did attempt to roll over and go back to sleep but my little inner voice made me get up. :-/. Maybe I should just accept the fact that I don't get to sleep in anymore. I am a new person (almost. Lol). Therefore I need to get my butt out of bed early in the morning and learn to love it. :-)
  14. Nope. I've actually got up around 5:30 am all week to exercise. I'm going to try to do something every day. Some days it's only 15 or 20 minutes, but it's better than nothing. Besides, I actually feel better after I exercise. Unfortunately I've missed so much work lately because of all my appointments so now I have the privilege of working today and tomorrow. It's a good thing I love my job.
  15. Good morning beautiful people! Time to rise and shine and do some exercise!! Up and at 'em.
  16. I'm just going to throw this out there. It's a little too much TMI but a valid point to make. You all may or may not have thought about it, but since we have to eat so much protein, it's going to slow down our plumbing. I've been drinking a least one protein shake a day for 3 weeks and have noticed "issues". I'm thinking we should just stock up on stool softeners.
  17. You're welcome. Yeah it helps a lot. When Dr Varnell first came in he asked what questions I had, but I couldn't think of very many. So I'm sure I'll have plenty of my own later.
  18. That's ok sexy beast #2. Fire away at the questions. I'm open and honest and will answer anything you got. I'm just one step ahead of you so I'll keep you updated on everything they do to me lol
  19. I'm going to start calling him the sexy beast lmao. You should be proud at your weight loss! Great job! I can't wait to buy skinny girls clothes lol. I am 5'10 and weigh in at 295, so I have about 150 to lose. I go in on 12/8 for a lot of the testing: stress test, pulmonary function, and something else that I can't remember. If they don't kill me, then I do the scope the following day lol.
  20. Lol I was referring to Tawnya. But don't feel bad, I haven't either. Today I wanted to strip all my clothes off cuz dammit, I've been working really hard and haven't lost anything.
  21. Tawnya, you didn't tell me how cute he was going to be!!
  22. Yeah, I think everyone has to do it. He said he wants to know what's going on inside you before the surgery. Good luck with your apt. How much weight have you lost?
