well done chris you are an insperation to us all and a walking advert for the surgery, i keep up to date reading your blog and was most interested in nov when u stated that Edin is now taking referrals, i went along to my doctors and she has written to them i am just now waiting to here back soon hopefully. once again well done!!!

hi Sadie am i not right in thinking that the lothian nhs trust has released an amount of money for nhs patients, as a trial run and these doctors are treating nhs patients?????? cheers

hi i have been looking around the site for a while now as i have been looking into the possibility of having surgery and i have approached my doctor and asked for it, she says that all avenues have to be explored first so she has put me on a course of Acomplia which is giving me terrible mood swings, however as i have been researching it on the net i am not sure if it is available in the Lothians? i know it is available in Glasgow but they do not take referrals from other NHS trusts and i can't find any reference to in in the east of Scotland, has anyone on here had it done through the NHS and lives in the East? cheers

HI i have just found this site as i am seriouosly thinking of having the ban fitted or a balloon..................how did you go about it did you go to your gp first?.........where did you get it done? thanks Lew
