  2. Hey all, I've got an appointment to start the conversation with a bariatric doctor and am very hopeful. I have always been an active person but have yo yoed on my loss got down 85 lbs due to running and frequent exercise and eating right, this year I injured my back (herniated discs) and gained a lot of weight due to feeling so sorry for myself for not being able to do much but sit around. I've got my BMI at 38.5 and I can't do much for cardio cause my back is weak. Doctors tell me if I loose weight my back will heal itself. I'm wondering if this is going to be a great option for me to jump start my way to a long term goal. Thoughts? I'm hoping I get approved by insurance. Thanks so much for the help
