  1. My plan is pretty much the same - two weeks liquid pre-op, one week liquid post, and now I'm on soft foods (eggs, yogurt, cottage cheese). I'll start puréed/well-cooked veggies this weekend, and then chicken/turkey/fish the following weekend. I figure I'll be close to normal eating by Christmas / into January. Relying a lot on my protein drinks to get the protein in (I'm supposed to have 80g / day). Dairy isn't agreeing with me too well, so keep experimenting. Down 20lbs from pre-op to now, about 4 weeks.
  2. Nice! I'm not feeling that lack of hunger or quick sense of fullness which is... Disappointing? Between that and these random hunger pains, I'm hopeful my body is still adjusting and will settle into soon. Trying not to overthink it and just follow the instructions, but having no trouble consuming the liquids and protein drink...
  3. Yes - I had my sleeve on the 18th as well. I'm on Prilosec and Carafate. Hoping it subsides soon!
  4. I've been having something more like INTENSE hunger pains - I'm trying to up my Protein drink intake, and making sure I get enough Water and other fluids. I'm reading online that acid reflux could cause feeling huger-type pain, so am also taking antacids. Anyone else having similar symptoms?
  5. About to have surgery. Here we go!
  6. Did my pre-op today. Definitely ready to have the surgery done, and excited to start on the journey.
  7. I'm scheduled for the 18th as well. Also anxious to get just past the surgery and start recovery. Started the pre-op diet early to start adjusting more. Don't mind the protein shakes but curbing the late afternoon hunger is a challenge. But, sticking to it.
