I don't even know where to start, I remember to incidents both of them at a grocery store, A teenager behind me kept "mooing" and another time an old lady in front of me took one look at my shopping cart and commented to the cashier "she doesn't look like she goes hungry" Once when I was 11 I went in for a booster shot, the nurse says "is there a chance you might be pregnant?" being 11 I giggled cause I thought the question was absurd, and the nurse replied "well, you're not exactly thin"

I enjoyed reading this, my surgery is Nov 21st, my 1st family gathering will be Dec 13th, fortunately this group breaks tradition and the whole family brings in all kinds of different Soups, there are bad choices and good choices. I heard someone once say to make all your food choices a "CHOICE" not a cheat, I have already been planning how I am going to handle this day, but I think I will be okay.
When I was pregnant with my 3rd child, I had to go to a new OB, he weight shamed me nearly the entire time I was pregnant at 32 weeks pregnant, I dropped him as a Dr.
Hi, I started my WLS journey back in May I had to lose 5% of my weight for insurance purposes so I had to go to the Dr. for 6 months, I lost 62 pounds on this alone I started from 321 pounds. Now people who were supportive at 1st are asking me "You've lost so much, why don't you just do it on your own?" Is there a good answer for this, right now I'm on 4 weeks of slim fast I started that 2 weeks ago and tend to be a little irritable these days my surgery date is Nov 21st.
