  1. I am definitely in the same boat! I am 5 days post op now, and I'm not exactly getting that "full" feeling, but I'm not exactly "Hungry" either. I did have a little trouble last night as a big bowl of Halloween candy was just staring at me lol, so I sucked on a sugar free vitamin c drop for a few min. Other than that stuff, things seem to be going well, I haven't taken any pain meds since the hospital. I can't wait to move on to the pureed stage so I can eat egg salad or hummus, something that isn't juice or broth! I don't think I'll ever want to eat broth another day in my life after this week lol
  2. Hi everyone! My name is Stacey, I'm 34 yrs old and just had the gastric bypass on 10/28/14. I was 271 when I started my journey, and I was 250 the morning of my surgery. I weighed myself when I got home, big mistake lol. I was 266! I didn't realize that all of the gas and fluids from the hospital would do that, I kind of freaked out! I weighed myself the next morning and it was down to 259, and I am trying so hard not to check it again until my first post-op appt. So far I really have not had much pain, except for last night (Halloween) because I did a little more walking than I should have. The only problem I seem to be running into is that I'm not getting that "full" feeling that is always talked about. I am not really "hungry" either, but I'm worried that I'm not getting enough in my pouch, or that I will over stuff it. Anyone else feel that way?
