Omg That's terrible! I've seen nothing but positive responses to the sleeve on this site. .. alot of people seem to suffer bad wind though! !

They have said I need to go on a liver shrinking diet first but they haven't been specific about a certain amount to lose. ... The health system here in England is different to you. .. we don't pay for health care. .. well I suppose we do to a certain degree as if you work you pay national insurance which comes straight out of your wages. It's a very expensive procedure over here but recently the health service has opened its doors. ... I'm very nervous but very very excited! !!! Your op is very soon then. ... What have you been eating?

I had a letter today saying I need to go to a class for 4 hours on 15 dec. ... To discuss before and afters I presume! !!? Are you in the uk?

I think its the horror stories of hair loss and this dumping thing that worries me! !! Not that im entirely sure what dumping is! ? Lots of pain I believe. ..

Well I've been accepted but unsure whether to go did the full bypass or sleeve. .... The weight losses seem to be the same ....?

Hello. .. Im shelley and I'm in the uk. .. I was approved last week for surgery on the NHS.... wow! !! I'm elated I really am! !! I cried and cried all day. He had given me the choice of s bypass or a sleeve. ... I'm gearing more twds the sleeve I think. ... In do looking fwd to this amazing journey. The photos and threads on here are truly an inspiration. The only fears I have are hair loss and never being able to go out for a meal as a family again. .. oh and bring broke. . Add I'll have to buy a new wardrobe every month! !! X
