  3. Crushing pills is the only negative thing I can say about this whole process. My surgeon says to crush all meds for three months (I am 2 months post-op). I crush them, mix with some Crystal Light and drink it down just like a shot. :-).
  4. I had similar symptoms the week after surgery. Called my surgeon and turned out one of my incisions was infected although it looked fine. Don't hesitate....call your surgeon.
  5. I don't get on the scale because it is too easy to get caught up in the number. I was weighed the day of surgery and will learn how much I've lost next month at my 3 month check up appointment. I measure my progress by the way my clothes fit.
  6. When someone asks me how I lost the weight I just say that I'm doing all the right things. I'm two months post op and only one person has asked if I had WSL. I replied "why would you ask such a personal question?" She hasn't asked again. :-).
  7. I get mine at Trader Joe's
  8. I'm 59 and had surgery on January 13th.

  10. I told my surgeon that the number meant nothing to me. My reason for wanting the surgery was to be healthy, feel better and be able to do all the things I'm unable to do because of my weight.
