    Low BMI-ers

Hi had my sleeve on 25 th November 2014. Bmi of 33. I am now BMI of 18. I am so happy it's amazing. Knees and health so much better and restriction still good. My problem is I'm only 6 months post op and still loosing but I can't afford to loose any more. I have lost my 4 1/2 stone =60 pound excess weight but it's still coming off and I don't know what to do. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do? I don't feel my restriction will alow any more calories .sorry to be insensitive to high BMIers but this is a real problem which I never envisioned . My husband hates me this thin ( which I really love), but worried iv possibly another year of weight loss. Can anyone advise please?
  2. I was 2 weeks total am 12 days out and feel fantastic. Every pound that goes I will never see again. Lots of energy and promise for a healthy happy active future. Good luck

    Height, Weight, And Size Poll

Hello I hope I am not being a pessimist for every one but this is a genuine question. On another site I read that some sleevers were having more surgery later ( don't know how much later) to be RE SLEEVED I was shocked and thought the sleeve was a permanent tool. Can anyone please enlighten me??????
  4. Wow way to go congratulations

Cool soon I'm sure you'll be down another size. Go Go Go
  6. Good luck Karen. I'm 5 days post first 2 days I thought what have I done? Not pain just still a bit nervous. But kept looking at my photos my daughter took of me (about 40) all angles. In my bra and pants YUK! ????Not a pretty sight but such motivation. Don't forget to take your photos the worst you can and loads of them. Now every days easier and so exciting not going to weigh though until my follow up appointment with my lovely surgeon here in UK.I kept remember everyone's advice on here walk walk sip sip so 10.00pm 5 hours after surgery I was marching the corridors. Have to say so far this has been easier than my knee arthropsocy 7 weeks ago. I hope I have helped your nervousness ! GODSPEED ❤️
  7. Good luck and hope your surgery goes well. I'm 4 days post but have to say it was easier pain wise than my knee arthroscopic surgery 7 weeks ago . Such an opportunity to start again with a healthy lifestyle. Thinking of you tomorrow . ????
  8. Thanks for the support Zanes Mom????
  9. Only my daughter and husband know. It's my business. The reason my surgeon went ahead was ( I paid for one) but also 7 weeks ago I just underwent my 2nd knee arthroscopy which has made me very sedentary also I have fibromyalgia and my brother and sister are morbidly obese with diabetes. What with my yo yo dieting that seemed to be my destiny! Not any more I've taken control back. Good luck everyone.
  10. Thank you so much. Just hope I can find you as I do find this site a bit complicated. DAH !!!!!!!!
  11. Hey just do it. Worth spending the money to stop that never ending cycle of yo yo dieting. Plus having a wardrobe full of UK size 10 12 14 and 16 and then never having anything in the right size to wear. 4 days post op doing everything I should and just back from 1 hours walk. I may be posting silly talk but BMI start of 32 is potentially a BMI start of 42 1 year away. If all my health issues plus not drinking alcohol go to plan and I have no unforeseen complications, I have now taken responsibility for my own life health mobility confidence and happiness . Go low BMI. Girls x
  12. Woooooops seemed to have replied to wrong post sorry!
  13. Hi I'm 4 days post and similar to you in as much as my BMI was 32 and I also self paid as I spent 40 years yo yo dieting. Drinking too much alcohol and generally over indulging.i am 61 and could no longer bare to see my 13 stone reflection so decided to use the sleeve to gain control of my body and mind.i am feeling surprisingly well for 4 days post and find the easiest way to get fluids down is with warm drinks ie broth. I'm thinking if all continues to improve at this rate I've done the right thing for me. I really hope every one is feeling good, well and better about themselves Oh yes I will not weigh myself until my post op appointment with my lovely surgeon Mr Hamouda from Tunbridge Wells who uses a 34fr Bougie as standard. ????
  14. Does anyone know how I can change my password please?
  15. 3 days out so pleased its over seem to be fine except I can only sip when I'm walking as everything, liquid gets stuck. However doing well. I wish all you new sleevers a good and pain free journey . Can't wait to start a healthier lifestyle !
