  1. It does finally get there. My surgery is tomorrow. Three weeks of liquid diet sucked. But I did it. Crazy
  2. Well doubts aside, I caught the stomach bug that my students and coworkers have been getting. So bad timing for sure. I've been babying my tummy and I think I'm on the mend. Cream of chicken soup is in as is low cal Gatorade. Hoping for a much better Thursday. ????
  3. My surgery date is November 11th. I started my pre-op diet last Thursday. I felt I was doing great for the first few days. By Monday I managed to catch a stomach bug. So two days of little food and lots of throwing up. Now I feel like I'm making a mistake even having the surgery. I'm worried this whole journey is going to be a mess. Help.
  4. Has anyone had issues with dizziness during the early part of the diet. I have had issues today. Feeling like crud, dizzy and such. I'm feeling better tonight but ugg.
  5. It's been a varying group I tell. My work BFF has been super as well as many other coworkers. My hubby has been with me all the way as has my family. I've had a couple people react weird. But mostly everyone has been awesome.
  6. Cindy I was in the diet coke lover world too. I stopped 2 months ago and I've been doing pretty well. Each day gets easier. I'm at the end of my 5 month wait. It goes by some days slower some faster. Promise it does go by. T
  7. Thanks Sandy. I'm going to keep checking in
  8. I started my journey in June 2014. 90 days of medically supervised weight loss. about a month of waiting for approval. 3.5 weeks of liquid diet. and one surgery date FINALLY scheduled. I had a super hard afternoon on Tuesday. I'm so worried that I am some how going to mess this up that I was teary all afternoon. Being heavy most of my teen and adult life...I feel like I am really good at failing at diets and plans and systems for weight loss. I know in my head that Lap Band can help me...I just need to do the work. I have a very supportive husband and family. But I am the hardest on myself (for most things). I figured I would start here with you guys for some support from those who know. :-) So day one of the liquid diet almost done. Off to the store for some pudding and yogurt reinforcements. Tracey
