You are a hero and a personal inspiration. I had surgery on October 6th 2014. I want to exercise but my doctors say for weeks. What can I do now to continue my journey?
Oct. 6th one week now. Yesterday I coughed without a pillow and was ok. Always recline. Sitting straight up puts to much pressure on surgical sites. I leaked on day two and ER visit to fix it. Day 4-5 no black blood in stool. That had me worried. 7 days out and I feel much better even good. I feel my underwear not fitting like it use to. One day at a time for the rest of my new life. Thank you for the New Whey info. I'm ordering it now.
Thank you. I had some soft scramble eggs to get more protein small amount and tolerated it. I am also going to find the isopure clear liquid protein drink. Premier are good to me but the phlem from dairy just adds to the discomfort. Good luck all. Keep in touch
4 days out. Surgical site discomfort only. They give you pain meds and Tylenol drip. Drink the little water cups as often as you can and have ice chips also. You need to drink a certain amount and urinate a certain amount as well as walk down the hall before you are considered for discharge.
I can't finish a protein shake in a day and drink fluids. Premier shakes taste good and have 30 grams of protien in one bottle. I just have not been able to get a full bottle down in twenty four hours. I also tried to walk a bit on day two and started leaking from surgical site so I went to ER and been in bed since. Should I be moving around now?
