I am also November 4th! I am going to do one week pre-op liquid diet. I have ordered sample packs of protein drinks from nectar and injury. I'm gonna try those before I purchase any big containers! I am buying all my vitamins on pay day next week. Another thing I just decided is that I'm going to do a big day of freezer cooking before surgery for my kids meals. They are all crockpot meals so I can just stick them in in the morning and not have to worry about cooking :0) Soooo excited!

November 4th in Dallas TX! I have made myself super nervous today by reading about people that have had complications! Other than that I am so excited!

I HAVE INSURANCE APPROVAL!!!!! I am so so so excited! So I am officially scheduled for November 4th at 9:30. My doctor doesn't require a pre-op because of my BMI but I am going to do one anyway becuase I think it will help me mentally prepare.

Dr Castro in Duncanville. I'm scheduled for November 4th pending insurance approval but the office doesn't seem to think there should be any problem with approval. I hope they are right!

This is my very first post! I am awaiting insurance approval with a tentative date of Nov 4th! Six years ago I had lapband surgery and lost almost 100 lbs. when my band slipped and had to be removed 3 years later they offered to convert me to the sleeve and I said no way! I've got this eating thing figured out! WRONG!!!!! I've gained back 100 lbs and am now doing what I should have done three years ago. I'm more nervous going in this time than I was with the lapband because I realize what a huge lifestyle change this is having gone through it before. I keep telling myself that the things I am giving up are the things that have gotten me to this point and remembering all the amazing things I'm going to gain by losing the weight!
