  8. Had my first real uncomfortable feeling last night. I don't know if it was gas from the surgery or I just didn't sip the water I was drinking and gulp it down but I thought I was going to vomit. I calmed myself down and layed down and it went away in 30 minutes. Man that wasn't fun

  18. I had my final meeting with my surgeon and she is sending my stuff off for final approval. I should be having surgery in 4 to 5 weeks. I did think it was odd that my doc said she didn't think I could get to goal weight of 210 with lapband. I weigh 437. She said I'd probably weigh 300. I'm going to work damn hard to prove her wrong.
  19. Thanks all. I meet with my surgeon on November 6th. I'm wondering after that how long will I have to wait until the surgery.
  20. Thanks for the response. I'm fired up and excited for this surgery.
  21. No offense ladies. I love the success stories. I'm just looking for success stories from men as well. Just curious if there are any on this site with Lap-band. I'm about 1 month or so out from surgery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
