  1. Can anyone suggest foods with more protein during the purée stage? There's got to be more thank canned chicken and tuna! Need ideas please because I know I'm not getting enough protein!
  2. Yes!! You weigh less than I do and your surgery was the day after mine. Are you on purées yet? If so, what are you eating? I'm so sick of shakes and yogurt!!
  3. I do need to find a therapist actually but have also been dragging my feet! That sounds good too. Do you use the ricotta cheese or just cottage cheese?
  4. My weakness is cake!!
  5. @@Lexie That sounds so good I want to try it tomorrow. Today I had the chicken salad from chick fil A and it was really good! I have an addiction to food and it's just been so hard to stay away from the foods I love! @Zanesmom Thank you for the encouragement! It reminds me why I am on this journey ????

  7. I'm 3 weeks post op and I did the same thing! I had 2 breakdowns! It's normal and you'll be ok once you remember why you did this in the first place. My family eats out too and I have been bugged at times. I couldn't wait to be on purées and now I'm just sick of it all, but I remember why I did this. Stay strong and take it one step at a time!! ????
  8. I had a bit of a chicken strip last night for dinner following mashed potatoes. I felt so sick afterwards. I wasn't throwing up food but bile was definitely coming up. I tried to make myself throw up but no luck! So u stayed gassy and nauseous the rest of the night. Feeling I might have made a mistake doing this! ????
  9. The only pill I don't take is in a capsule form (Prilosec) that I open and put in applesauce, so I'm thinking that may have some digestive issues. The rest have been ok give it a try!
  10. I have a serious addiction with food! I wasn't even hungry when I ate a double cheeseburger (just the meat) today from Burger King. Then I picked at my daughters nachos from Taco Bell! I will tell my doc. I'm so disappointed in myself and I appreciate your help I took a Gas x because I'm so bloated and gassy
