  2. I'm just mentally down right now. I didn't realize I would have to still track every bite in order to lose. It kinda frustrating when you realize that even with having surgery you still have to diet.
  3. Sbrown my doc let me eat immediately. He just said slow and easy for the first meal following to make sure I wouldn't get sick
  4. Thank you for taking the time to share with me!
  5. Hi all! I had my 1st fill yesterday, 2cc, and I don't feel my eating has slowed down I'm tracking my food and typically eating around 1500 cal a day at my current weight of 292. Am I overeating?
  6. 5 here as well. It's sounds like they only needed one for the camera, 1 for the instrument, and 1 for the hernia repair and port. It's all about in the same place so I don't think it's unusual

  8. First week was a roller coaster of better then worse. Try ice packs for 15 min every few hours. Don't leave them too long because they restrict blood flow to the area and that actually slows down healing
  9. They could but they probably won't due to liability. Are you sure he's out of practice? Have you physically driven to the office he was in?

  12. You could be dehydrated at this point only adding to the stomach cramps. Set a timer and make yourself drink a 1 once serving every 15 min for a entire day. See what happens

  15. I didn't have hernia repair but I did have a post op bleed which required a 2nd surgery that same day. The dr explained that there are lots of nerves in that area and once they have to move around too much it does cause a lot of increased pain
  16. Feeling hunger is a good sign. It lets you know the anesthesia is pretty much out of your system and liquids should no longer make you queezy

  19. Oui it gets better! Try to get you some protein shake in prior to pain meds and that will help control some of the icky cycle your in
  20. Carnation breakfast essentials is my cup of coffee. It has 13 g of protein plus whatever is in the skim milk. It doesn't taste like all those yucky protein drinks! Then around mid morning I'll have a Yoplait Greek Apple pie. 12 g of protein in that
