  1. I have my surgery scheduled for 12/26 and am starting to get freaked out! I don't know if I'm reading too many posts of people with post-op problems, or if it's totally normal for my nerves to be kicking in right now. I have no reason to think anything is going to go wrong (my doctor says I'm an excellent candidate, I'm 30, never had kids, etc.) but I find myself getting a little more nervous every day. Is that normal? Does anyone else find that sometimes too much information is a bad thing?
  2. Thanks for the info. How long did the process take to book your surgery? I know some have to wait six months if going through insurance but wasn't sure if the wait time was less if you're self pay.
  3. I'm seriously considering Lap Band and do not have insurance (I'm self-employed) so need to finance. Has anyone out there done this? Anything in particular I should know or be aware of? I'm going to my introductory meeting tonight to get more info.
