  7. I stalled for 2 weeks at weeks 4 and 5. Just about lost my mind but just kept with the diet. Then I just all of a sudden started losing again. I'm convinced it was my fat putting up a fight!

  12. @spicy06. I had the belly button incision. Belly incision was sore and then itchy about a week. Day 11 now and the glue has rubbed off (with my help after the 7 day postop visit) and I don't even really notice it now.

  15. @@sassycas45 my doc only required a 3 day pre-op. I was so paranoid about it but I am 9 days postop and everything went beautifully. No worries.

  17. . Yep, did all that too. Prepped for about 7 months during my waiting period. All of a sudden felt like I had forgotten everything I learned, but just took one day at a time. Now 1 week post op and starting to feel completely normal (except I get full after about 3 bites). Use the sample menus as much as possible until you get comfortable with the new process. I literally wrote myself a schedule this week. Down 16 pounds including my 1 week pre op. Also might help to talk to a counselor to get at the root of the fear. Good luck to you. :-)
  18. . I only had to do 3 days and had a good experience with no problems.
  19. 5 days post op. Actually ate a teaspoon of thin oatmeal with 4 oz of protein shake. Almost made me feel human. Feel much better than day 4 but still have gas pains that like to move from shoulder to shoulder depending on how I am sitting or laying. I swear it seems to travel to the highest point at the time. Still disgusted that in 5 days I am only back to my surgery weight after a 5 pound gain in the hospital. But reading these posts, I am hanging in there knowing it will be OK. What a mental battle though. Keep wondering if I'm doing everything right. Making sure I take my vitamins, etc and just keep moving forward!
  20. Had surgery Tue mar 3. Had sleeve and fixed my hernia. Went very well. No nausea. Keeping everything down (drinking very slowly). Had horrible gas pains in my shoulder yesterday for a few hours. Some lingering aching today. Also have a sore throat still. Overall way better experience than I expected. Did come home weighing 6 pounds more than I went in. Good thing I read these forums and knew that was coming or I would be upset. It has taken 3 days but it has all come off. Now for the real losing!!

  23. In pre op waiting for surgery. I couldn't wait for this and now I REALLY need a Valium. The nerves are kicking in like I can't believe.
  24. Surgery in 2 days. I seem to be all of a sudden noticing every food commercial now. Funny how my head starts thinking of reasons to quit and go eat an entire pizza. Battle of sheer will today.
  25. Day 2 of liquid diet. Head hurts, hungry and tired. Had to go to bed early last night just to make it through day 1. Just keep telling myself one day at a time.
  26. Had it during the waiting period but they just gave me antibiotics and continued to set surgery date.
