I didn't get to my optimal restriction until about my 6th fill, but it varies for everyone. Hang in there, it's worth it!

I was banded 11-9-05. My high weight a week prior to banding was 218, 213 the day of surgery and I'm 203. I just got my third fill however and I think this will be "the one" hopefully. Laura

My husband always notices when I do that. I wonder if he'll notice that I'm NOT doing it anymore once I get this weight off. Laura

Any experience with this company ladies? I'm having my psych exam and nutritional counseling next month as I know this is one of their requirements. I'm diabetic so haven't been on a supervised weight loss program however my blood sugars were running perfect, so obviously I've been eating right. I sure hope I don't have to wait another 3-6 months for this! Laura

Did Dr. O'Brien do your lap band? I've had a consult with him and am now going to have my psych exam and nutritional counseling next month. I'm very excited and pray my insurance will cover this for me. Thanks for any info you can give me, I'm new here as of today! Laura
