  1. I have this same PAIN! it's like 2 or 3 inches below the port area on my left side! It's like a burning, pinching spasim type thing that happens just when it feels like happening! I was banded on OCT.22nd,2007. But I must say it has happened less & less now.........My Dr. said that it is normal and will go away on it's own. That it's the scar tissue starting to form and that if we move a cetain way you can feel it pull.........Well that's what I know about it so far!
  2. Hi there! Wow, you are not that far from me! I haven't had my first fill, I'll have it on NOV.29 at sky ridge medical center with my surgeon Dr. Chae. How are you doing with you band? I'm onlt 11 days out since surgery for me! JEN
  3. Hi all! I'm new to the site! I was just banded on OCT. 22nd 2007 At Skyridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, CO. By Dr. Chae. I'm just 11 Days out from surgery! I never thought I'd be so EXCITED to have surgery! I'm 33 years old Happily Married to the most AMAZING Husband & I have 3 BABIES, My Twins are almost 3 in FEB., Justin & David & My Daughter Ava just turned the BIG 1 on OCT.6th! I'm SO HAPPY I found this SITE! It's so nice to read that other people have so much in common with ME! Since surgery I have lost 19.5 LBS.! My recovery so far has been good, Although I do get this really painful spasim thing happen on my left side where the port is from time to time, My Dr. says it's normal and wil go away..........So we'll see about that! The hardest thing for me has been not being able to pick up & hold my BABIES! My 1 year old just wants MOMMY, she doesn't understand..... I just got to the point yesterday that I can hold her in my lap....So each DAY does get BETTER! I get my first fill on NOV.29th! Does anyone have any good ideas to keep the weight coming off until the fill's start coming? I Look forward to reading & being a part of the site! Thanks for reading! Jennifer
