Had Gastric Sleeve surgery on August 18 and have lost 18 pounds. I do not notice much difference in my clothes yet  . I had weight loss surgery done at Abbott NW in Minneapolis, MN. The hardest part was the clear liquid diet before and after the surgery, but I survived and am happily on my way to weight loss. I found this wonderful website in a book I purchased from Amazon.com called "The Big Book on the Gastric Sleeve." My Dr. gave me the go ahead to start exercising 1 week after surgery and I try to get in 30 minutes of cardio and some strength training every day. Some days I have no energy, but push through and get through it. I am anxious to communicate with members on the site and find out answers to questions and look for encouragement and hope I can be of help to others also.
