  1. About gas...my doctor said Phillips Milk of Magnesia liquid. I used it and had no problem with gas. The hardest part for me was walking around because i was so drugged up on the pain medicine they prescribed. They want you up and around to get rid of the gas. Good luck ya'll.
  2. I agree with taking it slow. I started walking again in two weeks, taking it slow. Wait six weeks for weights. You will have plenty of time to work out after you have healed.
  3. I would recommend going to a running store and letting them analyze your walk pattern. I did this when I had a foot injury and am now pain free! I am wearing Brooks walking shoes. The right shoe is so important!
