  1. The first few days I really struggled to get any liquids down. The gas pain was the worst. I have a drain tube in and that has made sleeping difficult. So been sleeping on the couch. On the second day it took me 8 hours to get a small jello down. Now it's only 30 min. I am also finding cold and hot liquids go down easier. My favorite is caffeine free peppermint tea. My tube should come out Wednesday so then I will actually sleep in a bed. We are on the healing side and anxious for the weight loss. Each day I feel stronger and have had no regrets!!!. This is so worth it. Good luck all. My phone is not cooperating with me on this site so it's difficult to make post and changes.
  2. I am packing my bag with my son and will be staying in a hotel tonight. Check in at 9:30 am for 11 am surgery. In 48 hours I'll be back home eating jello and recovering. Deep Breath we are really doing this. Best of luck to all of my September 8 friends.
