  1. FYI.. Realize has been used in Canada since 2002...
  2. Hi everyone, I am not a bandster, and will not be receiving a band. I used to be 300 pounds, and am now 175. I am a male, 5'10". I have always had a passion for obesity and bariatrics research, and my current focus has been on LAGB. From my research, I am wondering why people seem to prefer the LapBand and Midband to The swedish band. I have noticed that the swedish band is now approved in the USA..are people excited for this? From a surgeon's perspective, why do they seem to prefer the Lapband over the Swedish.... I look forward to learning more and meeting you all. Danny
