    I have Cigna insurance . They say they will pay. So hopefully once I see the surgeon I can get the ball rolling.

    Today I went to see my PCP and so disappointed with my weight -249. I did let him know that I will be seeing the local surgeon to discuss gastric sleeve. I will be seeing the surgeon later this week for my first appointment. Does anyone know how many appointments you usually have to go thru in order to get approved?

    Attended the weight loss surgery seminar last Tuesday and sent my paperwork to the surgeons office. Now waiting to hear back with appointment time for first office visit. Hope I am doing the right thing. I want to have the gastric sleeve and get rid of this weight once and for all
