  1. Thanks for the great suggestions. I use almond milk to make my shakes because I am lactose intolerant. I think I also have an intolerance to whey. May have to find some other type of Protein...
  2. I am almost 7 weeks post op and I am having major issues with Protein shakes. I have tried whey concentrates, whey isolates, rice protein (yuck) and pea protein (double yuck) and they all make me very bloated and crampy and I end up being in pain for 5 – 6 hours after drinking them. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my protein in? If I drink the shakes, I am in constant pain, if I don’t, I feel weak and lethargic from lack of protein. Thanks for any and all suggestions.

  4. I am 4 weeks out from my Dec 9 surgery and have lost 28 pounds. No complications and I finally found a Protein isolate that I can tolerate. I am eating a lot of Greek yogurt, tuna, chicken and hummus. Only problem I am having is major fatigue. Is anyone else experiencing this? Just walking around the office makes me exhausted and I'm in bed by 9 every night.
