Hi everyone! I just found this group and very excited to be a part of it. My initial appointment with my surgeon is in less than 3 hours and all of a sudden I am scared out of my mind. I know I qualify since my BMI is 41% but my insurance will not pay for it - no way, no how. I have money in my healthcare savings account so I can pay and finance what else may be needed. My husband and family are supportive but think that perhaps I should try the physician monitored diet first. I am 36 and weigh 243. I have never been able to lose weight - like ever. I have gone to my doctor who suggested that I wasn't getting enough sleep so I take meds for that. I have been diagnosed with pcos and when I started those meds I did lose weight and then gained it back. I have hit a wall. I just don't know what else to do and I just need HELP. I have 4 kids and need to be around for them. I want to feel confident in my clothing. I want to be sexy for my husband. sigh. here goes nothing!
