  1. Only from my family, but they haven't heard that it goes by your BMI and not all weight. DH is very supportive and just wants to see me get back to my goal weight and be happy. I was a size 5/7 all through Jr. High and part of high school but broke my ankle and VERY quickly gained a ton of weight. After marriage and baby I've tried many things but I've kind of lost hope
  2. Thanks. My goal is actually about 60-70lbs. I hold my weight well, but there's no denying that I'm very overweight. My BMI is well above the 30 that is required, but I've yet to meet with my PCP about it. I wanted to o a little research on my own first. Thanks for your help!
  3. I really am just curious about your opinions of what you think isn't a plus to having the surgery. Also, is there a lot of extra skin, scars from the procedure, etc. It's all very new to me because I was determined to lose weight "naturally" but I've just decided that I need to do something and get my butt in shape, literally! :nervous
  4. I'm new to this site and considering the procedure. I would just like to discuss some questions I have and hear more from people that have had the procedure instead of the websites describing what will happen!
