  1. I had gas for a few days too. I did drink straight hot water to break it down. It worked for me. I didn't have any tea in the house water was it. It worked. I haven't had any swallowing issues tho. Maybe call your Dr in case you're having a reaction to something?
  2. I am 6 days post op too. Lap band. My weakness level is crazy to me. But asking my doctors and NUT dizziness may come from the lovenox shots. They are a blood thinner. Headaches from being dehydrated. And pain. Well, my port incision is the worst of it for me. My husband is a triathlon nutcase and he has given me some of the electrolyte mix ins for my water. Since then I haven't had a headache and my urine isn't as dark. I feel like I am get more fluids even though I can only do 4-5 oz every half hour. Dr says when I'm done with the blood thinners and can start eating more solid foods the dizziness will subside. All of this is why weakness after surgery is reported. I felt relief that he had some answers instead of "we only can wait and see". I suppose that's what we do anyway. Take care everyone. This is the beginning of a new life we've always wanted to live. ((Hugs))
  3. I do feel more pain when I cough. Haven't sneezed yet. I'm too afraid to. Lol! But bumping it with my arm or trying to move while laying down is just killer. I hope they figure it out for you. 6 months is a long time. Good luck
  4. I'm 5 days post op (lap band) and I feel like I still need pain meds even though my doctor only gave me 5 days worth. I've already requested the refill through my pharmacy and my dr. Does anyone have or had pain linger past pain meds? Since I was only prescribed 5 days worth I feel like 1-I'm a wimp or 2-I'm a wimp ???? thanks for the comments. All are welcome ????
