  1. Praying all is well. If there is anything you need let me know!
  2. I also had mine at northwest! You are going to be fine! My best advice is get up and move pretty quickly, that air will get moving! The gas they use to expand you is the worst thing I dealt with. And it was not intolerable. I had a great nurse Katrina. She was so sweet! I only stayed 1 day. I had minimal pain after the first 12-15 hrs. Just think! It's a new adventure! You will have a weightloss tool to help jump start the new you! Many blessings! Keep me updated!
  3. When is your surgery scheduled? BSA or northwest?
  4. I has the VSG on sept 29th. Amarillo
  5. I used Dr. hodges. I was beyond happy with him and his staff. I was so scared. I have heard of your doctor, and hear great things about him too! Let me know your progress and how your feeling.
  6. I went for my 1 week Post op and down 20 lbs already! I am doing well on puréed soups like broccoli cheddar, potato, chowders. I eat cream of wheat for breakfast, maybe 3-4 tablespoons. I try to get three protein shakes in a day still, and up to about 50 ozs of fluids. No pain, healing very well. Already feeling able to bend over better. Looking forward to less painful knees, back, and feet.
  7. Thnx so much! I am feeling ok, I just am trying so hard to get fluids in...I chuckle at 64 ozs...lol
  8. Sept 29th, sleeved. Monday afternoon surgery, with hernia repair. Started walking a few hours after surgery, to get the air out. I have had a gallbladder removal laporoscopic in 2005. I remembered the pain, so I wanted to get up and get moving! Went home next morning, no nausea, minimal pain. Only the larger incision feels sore. So far feeling great. Rotating 4 ozs fluids, 4 ozs of protein shake.. It's a job!
  9. AMA. Surgery was 9/29/14
