Anyone have surgery the same day as their spouse?
- Newbie
Hi All Mel there. I am a newbie too. I went to the weight-loss seminar about two months ago. It took me two months to get an appointment to see the surgeon. Today was my first appointment with the surgeon I had all my questions prepared the meeting went very well. Then the doctor told me based on my insurance company. I'm required to do a six-month diet weigh in before the insurance company will grant approval along with about 7 other test. I was hoping to get my surgery in January. Now it looks like around May for me. I was not happy with that. Since it is what it is I figured I'll just use the time to do some more research and try my best to lose some more weight on my own before the surgery It would be cool for us to stay in touch with each other and check on each other since we're waiting for that magic day.- I Can't Believe It Has Only Been 5 1/2 Months Since Surgery

FutureMrs.Bee. I'm just following up to see how your surgery went and how you feeling. At first I was leaning towards Lapband but have decided on the sleeve. My Primary Doctor said it would be better for me. Tomorrow is my first appointment with Dr. Holiver. I'm looking forward to finally starting. I had to wait a month for an appointment then he cancelled because of an emergency. So I had to wait another Month. So tomorrow is the first day of the journey. So tell me about the surgery. We're you in a lot of pain after.- Roll call for Sept 30th...
