Love the topic. I'm glad someone asked the question. I too was thinking this. I smoke as well. It really does relax me. Im a corporate paralegal. It's very stressful. A few puffs at night helps my stress level a lot. I stopped smoking a few weeks ago as I prepare for surgery next month. But would love to go back after surgery. There were a lot of good answers on here. I'm thinking as long as you control the munches with the right food it should not be a problem take care and good luck to everyone

Hello. My name is Lisa I log on and read the stories everyday they are very helpful. Thank God for this site. I have to go thru a six month weigh in visit with the Nut before I get insurance approval. I have two more months to go. I hoping for surgery late March early April. As time go on I'm getting nervous. This site is a Godsend. I get an idea what to expect after surgery. Thank you all for posting your stories for us newcomers. My insurance company is requiring 6 months of weigh ins and I have about 5 different test I have to complete along with a nutritionist and psych visit. I'm in my 2nd month. I cannot wait. I'm so ready. I thought about getting the surgery two years ago and never did, thinking I could lose it on my own. I joined weight watchers lost some and gained it back and then some.
