I called UHC today I am APPROVED OMG :whoo: on my way to healthy me

Ok you guys as soon as I relax a little I got a phone call. It was the Doctors office ,they known I need to have the band done this year cause my insurance is changIing in 2008, So tommorrow I start my pre opt diet(liquid only) so back to stressing , cause what if it takes them 3 more weeks to get approved :omg: I would be on liquid for 3-5 weeks I want need lapband after that lol

I am turning into someone I didn't know I can be I have called the insurance company everyday to find out the status (processing) I am starting to hate that word. (well its not denied )PLEASE JUST APPROVE IT ALREADY SO I CAN GO TO SLEEP. :notagree

That's my problem my company is changeing from UHC to Aetna in Jan 2008 so I need all of this said and done by DEC 31,2007

I had the Doctors office call them, they are better inform than me they know all that medical jargon and codes so let them call, the insurance company want give them the run around.

I don't understand why the same insurance can approve one person in a week and than take a month to approve another. JUST APPROVE ME ALREADY lol sorry I have to vent today

how long did it take? what all you submitted ? I just submitted my paperwork 11/6/07 I am freaking out and its only been a week tell all please

OMG I am in the same boat I have UHC CHOICE PLUS all they require is a BMI over 40 that's it. My company is switching to Aetna which requires 5 year weight history 6 months Dr. supervised diet and a lot of hoops so I really want to get this done with UHC I do know that my Aetna policy will cover the band but I don't want to go though that if I don't have too.

I can't sleep I can"t eat (I thinks that's a good thing) all I do is think about my insurance getting approved I call today and will only call once a week. but I am stress myself out I have already lost 8lbs and have'nt even tried. can I be approved already so I can get some rest.:heh:

Order my Actitrainer today can't wait to get it. I order from Amazon.com the shipping was cheaper and because I already have a accout I got is for $30.00 cheaper, how cool is that . it's coming from Florida I am in Texas ans they are sending 2 days Fed Ex. can't wait to start counting calories burned. now all I waiting on is my APPROVAL LETTER FROM UHC :bounce:

u always loss inches first . are you using the same scale for everytime and sometime the clothes you wear make a diffenence

I am kinda going though the same thing my company is change from UHC choice plus to Aetna who has a lot of requirements so I already have a date just waiting to be approve so I can get it done this year:whoo: can u schedule the surgery so when u get approve u want have to wait for a surgery date. he have to put in a 2 week anyway for the old job that's a little more time. :embarassed:

I have uhc choice plus I am going crazy I called on 11/10/07 and was told they didn't have my paperwork and now they are telling its pending I hope I don't have to wait 6 weeks

Hi I submitted my paperwork to insurance on 11/6/07 called today still pending. I am losing my mind any body else need to vent waiting for approval. :angry

OK guys I call UHC and was told that they got all my paperwork all labwork, and I am now just waiting for a Decision.(APPROVAL) its been a week I am losing my mine. I promise myself that I would not be like this, but I can't help myself. The Rep. at Lapbans Solution told me that it should take about 1-2 weeks because of the holidays, HOW LONG DIDI IT TAKE FOR YOU TO GET APPROVE ONCE YOUR PAPERWORK WAS SENT TO UHC:help:
