  4. Does Dr. Cribbins take Medicare? Im wandering because I am looking for a bariatric surgeon. I am wanting to do the Lap Band procedure. The surgeons in my hometown dont take Medicare or Medicaid. They will for cholycystectomies and appendectomies, but not for WLS.
  5. I am also on Medicare. I have found several doctors in Dallas Tx. who'll take Medicare. Hoping I can get to see one soon.
  6. I am a 27 year old female who has been overweight since age 14. I was wandering how long did it take for you to have your surgery. I know I qualify. I have a BMI of 36.4 and arthritis in my right knee, reflux, asthma, and premature ventricular conditions. I weigh 212 right now, but apparently im supposed to be between 108-132. Can someone help me. I called Dr. Bryce's office, and apparently they don't take either Medicare or Medicaid. I called Dr. Barker's office and would have to be on a lengthy waiting list to get a consult. :help::help:
