  2. I am sorry Toni not sure of your name am using part of your posting ID. I just read this thread again did not realize I had replies. I am a Probate Collector and Project Manager for Wells Fargo Card Services at the Barnhart Center in Hillsboro Oregon. Nice to meet you. We Wells people ROCK! You were right it is United Health Plus through Wells that covers the surgery. I am in the process now went to the meeting and sent in first paperwork. Have my physical ewwww next week. How are all of you? Do you work at a branch or a call center? Thanks too for replying LuAnn
  3. Hi All, I am from Hillsboro I went to the meeting at OHSU Center on Bond Street on May 12th to start my process. I really liked the staff. Though I already knew most of what they told me. I liked the meeting & the way the information was presented. But the Q&A with the surgeon got cut short. When the building alarm went off shutting down the AC and causing a horrible shrill siren with flashing strobe lights on the ceiling. It was horrible we sat there trying to listen for about 20 minutes till we finaly just had to go. The noise & lights triggered an instant migraine I thought I was going to have to throw up if I did not get out of there. I missed the next day of work. I did really like the surgeon and I asked about fills. He told me they do the fills there and the insurance includes 3-6 mos of fills in the total cost of the surgery. Which is why it ends up being almost as much for Lab Band as the Bypass. I just finished filling out papers to forward to them and will await a call to set up my initial appointment. I chose OHSU over Good Sam as they have more research, positive results and a larger sucess rate then the rest of the world. Less deaths as well. Which is great with me LOL. I am now going to have to loose 17-20 lb's. Any advice? I know how to eat. I just am one who can not move much due to injuries and disease. So any thing I put in my mouth stays. Love to hear from all with your stories and advice. LuAnn:biggrin2:
  4. Hi is anyone here an employee of Wells Fargo? They are changing our plans in 2008 to Wells Fargo health plans Silver and Gold, High Deductable and I believe a Healthnet one. I am not sure which plan covers the Lap Band Surgery and was wondering if anyone does. I am on Pacificare but it will be up in Dec. I am just waiting for my CPAP machine as I had sleep study done. But Pacificare does not pay for a Nutricianist. Since I have to pick a new plan by Nov I was hoping someone else might be employed by WFB and know. Thanks all and good to be here. I am sure each and everyone here has some great advice and support. LuAnn
