I am feeling the same way you are and I have to say Iam in the same boat. I felt so bad as I ate a lean cusiine with chicken. I have been battling the hunger I have just been very careful not to overeat. I am good all day until dinner and the evening...
I was wondering where everyone has had their port placed... I was banded 2 weeks ago and mine is about an inch under my belly button... It is quite uncomfortable with jeans on..
I went the the Toronto Lap band clinic. I live in Edmonton so I make the flight out. It was 16.000 there and inclides all the fills I just have to pay the airfare.
The clothes for sure. Shopping in a regualr store I can't wait. And travelling. I fly alot so one day the seatbelt will not a struggle anymore....Just going out and doing things instead of being on the sidelines.
I was just wondering if there was anyone from Edmonton on here. I am 12 day post op and just looking for anyone who wants to pssibly start a weekly support meeting.
Hi,
Everyone at the TLBC is great. I was banded Oct 11th by Dr Yau. How long do you plan on staying in Toronto after your surgery? I flew home 2 days later.
Hi, I am 31 years old and from Edmonton Canada. I had surgery on Oct 11th. I am having alot of mixed feelings. Excited and scared at the same time. I feel like an emotional roller coaster. I am so happy I found this site.
My parents made me the offer to pay for the surgery. I live in Canada and insurance does not pay for the surgery. It was $16,000 canadian and I get lifetime fills. Without the financial assistance from family I would have never been able to afford this. I had surgery over a week ago and I am looking forward to a new chapter in my life.
