My date is Dec. 2nd, I'm 4 days in to my liquid diet!

Just keep your eye on the goal and you will be fine!

I started my 2 week liquid diet on Tuesday the 18th and am doing better than I thought. I am not even craving or missing food! Hope it stays this way. I would love any advice about what to take to the hospital to what to expect when I get home and such. My Dr's office has been great explaining what to expect from their end during my pre-op but I am all ears to any advice or thoughts.

I am looking at Nov. being my surgery date as well. In the process of all of the pre-op tests now!

I was told no more sodas, I love my Mountain Dew and Coke! I have gone from several a day to 1 a day now working on 1 every other day. I am looking at early Nov. for my surgery date so I have a little bit of time still to adjust!

I'm new here and live in Pensacola, anyone in or around this area? I will be having my surgery in Nov. anyone else having surgery around this time?

I have heard some people take Biotene mouthwash to keep their mouth moistened. They have mouthwash, spray, toothpaste and gel. Hope this helps.

Hi everyone, I am new here and my name is Tonya and I live in FL. I am working with a dietitian at the Bariatric Center and will be having surgery in Nov. I am really mixed between having a gastric sleeve or a bypass. My mother and 2 of my neighbors have had a bypass; however, I have not ever spoken to anyone who had the sleeve. I have some time before a decision has to be made but I want to be educated before I do. I know everyone is different but I am just wanting to gather any info I can and take it from there.
