  1. Wow, you're an inspiration!! I'm close to 7 weeks post-op and feels like I have soooo many more miles to go. Thanks for reminding me time does go by fast and there's hope. Congratulations on your great accomplishment!!! Here's to you and all for better health!!!????????✨
  2. . Thank you so much for sharing your day to day exercise routine. I'm still struggling and hoping I can be more consistent exercising since my weight-loss is starting to slowdown a little bit; but I'm still hopeful and will take exercising more seriously. Thanks again!
  3. Absolutely, YES!!!! Love, love, love my new belly, life and tomorrow. Hope is real folks????????????????????
  4. I'm so sorry to hear your struggles and no, you're not a freak. All is not lost. I'm 6 weeks out and still feel my stomach healing. Love chocolate too (like crazy) and have to keep it out of the house or else. The Protein shakes and the Water will help. Have you talked with your primary doctor on what's happening? Recommend to get with a good counselor or therapist in your area too. This is a huge change for us and as a therapist myself, can't do it alone. I've reached out to address on what's really causing my cravings since it's nothing medical. Hang in there. The journey just began and dreams at healthier living and future can come true. Do not give up. Everyday is new day. You can do this...????????????????
  5. Yes, keep us posted! Awesome job!! You look terrific!!!
  6. Congratulations!! Definite time to start celebrating!! I'm celebrating my six weeks too and down 32lbs!! Very excited ????????????????
  7. Awesome job!! What an inspiration you are!!????????
  8. Ray Robb's Egg White Protein Powder is awesome. With lactose intolerance and celiac, this was the answer to my prayers post-surgery. eBay has the best bargain and prefer unflavored.
  9. It's so hard to learn something new like the gym. I had my surgery March 4th and so far so good but going to the gym has truly been difficult. I've been trying to keep it consistent but it's so easy to stay home and "relax". Any suggestions would be truly appreciated here too. I wish everyone well!
  10. Hey there! I'm in Wellington and am a little over six weeks out of my surgery. Very very happy about it all. Loving my tummy! So sorry to hear about your family but am more than happy to be here for you. Wishing you all the best!
  11. Me too! Just found out this morning
  12. That's awesome! Praying all goes well and the approval comes quickly!
  13. It's amazing how time is going so fast! I'm going to my second surgeon visit tomorrow I'm hoping to have the surgery by January 2015 and been recommended for the gastric bypass instead of the sleeve; a bit nervous but keeping positive! I hope you are feeling better and I definitely will keep in touch sistersuz! Pray for the best for everyone!
  14. Hi qtball! Sorry it's taken so long to respond. It's been one Crazy week. I opted out of seeking bariatric surgery from Dr. Folwell per my PCP's recommendation. She said it was very disorganized there too. I've decided to go with Dr. Vaughan at Jupiter Medical Center but my first choose was Dr.Perez. Because of the distance, it wasn't really feasible to go to him. I wish you the best!! Keep me posted. I'm starting my 3 month medical supervised diet with him on 9/24. Done the nutrition assessment, sleep study and am collecting medical history documents. I'm hoping to have the sleeve done by December. I'm going through my insurance, federal employee blue cross/blue shield basic.
  15. That's awesome and convenient. I heard so many wonderful things about him. I wish you the best too!
  16. Hi there! I'm in West Palm Beach too. I want to go with Dr. Perez but the distance seems challenging. I will be going to his info. Meeting on 9/09. In the meantime, it maybe that I will be going with Dr. Vaughan in Jupiter if he approves me.
